The journey began early last year (2023) when myself & wife appointed Island homes as agent to sell our property in Kapparis, Cyprus. The staff acted very promptly liaising with the Solicitor & other parties to get the ball rolling. In the course of time & until final completion of sale in May this year, although myself & wife are based in the UK engaged with high pressured NHS jobs, Karen, Sarah & Michelle of island homes in conjunction with our Solicitor, Eva Mintis, firmly and reassuringly ensured we did not have any need to travel to Cyprus to attend to various unexpected issues (including repair of damaged property due to heavy rainfall) that arose along the line. We have had an excellent experience with Island homes. We are based in the UK and wanted to buy a property in Cyprus. I did make contact with several agents but got the usual copy and paste response. We are just in the process of listing our property for sale and so far, Sarah and Island homes have been a dream to work with. We haven’t got our title deeds yet, apparently they are ready to transfer and Sarah is helping us to sort that side of things out too. I first contacted Sarah by WhatsApp whilst back in the UK, her replies by both social media and email are swift and helpful. Sarah arranged to meet us on our next visit back in our apartment and she arrived bang on time. Immediately you realise that she is very knowledgeable in her field, she even arranged the solicitor appointment for us (our choice of solicitor). Every question we had from how the proceeds of a possible sale would be deposited to if we need to come back to Cyprus to sign papers and ways around it were answered and discussed. Sarah did not value the property on day one (as our title deeds situation was unclear), instead she waited for us to have our first solicitor meeting and also wait until she has looked into things herself of where things are at with the deeds. Hopefully I’ll be updating this review in the future with extended positivity on a sale of our apartment.
